Part 1: What is Global Warming and what are its causes?
1. What is Global Warming?
Global Warming refers to the continuous increase in the Earth's average temperature. This temperature rise is caused by greenhouse gases that trap the sun's heat in the atmosphere.
2. Key Causes:
Fossil Fuels: Burning coal, oil, and natural gas releases greenhouse gases like carbon dioxide, which increase the temperature.
Deforestation: Trees absorb carbon dioxide. Cutting them down increases the amount of this gas in the atmosphere.
Industrial and Agricultural Activities: Smoke from factories and fertilizers used in fields also release dangerous gases like methane and nitrous oxide.
