2nd Part
Types of Renewable Energy
There are several types of renewable energy sources that are widely used.
Solar Energy: This is energy from the Sun. Solar panels convert sunlight directly into electricity. It's great for homes and businesses.
Wind Energy: This uses the power of the wind. Large turbines, often in open fields or offshore, spin to generate electricity.
Hydropower: This is energy from moving water. Dams are built on rivers to create a powerful flow of water, which turns turbines to produce electricity.
Geothermal Energy: This uses heat from deep inside the Earth. It's used to generate electricity and for heating buildings.
Biomass Energy: This comes from organic materials like plants, wood, and agricultural waste. It can be burned to produce heat or electricity.
We have now finished the 27th topic, "Renewable Energy," by covering what it is and its different types.
