27th Topic: Renewable Energy
Renewable energy comes from natural sources that are constantly replenished.
Types of Renewable Energy
Solar Energy: Energy from the Sun, converted into electricity using solar panels.
Wind Energy: Uses large turbines to convert the power of the wind into electricity.
Hydropower: Generated by the force of moving water, which turns turbines to produce electricity.
Geothermal Energy: Uses heat from deep inside the Earth for electricity and heating.
Biomass Energy: Comes from organic materials like plants and wood, which can be burned to produce heat or electricity.
Advantages of Renewable Energy
Eco-friendly: It does not pollute the environment with harmful gases.
Sustainable: The sources (sun, wind, water) will never run out.
Economic Benefits: It creates jobs and reduces dependence on foreign energy sources.
Disadvantages of Renewable Energy
High Initial Cost: The setup and installation can be very expensive.
Weather Dependent: Its effectiveness depends on the weather (e.g., no sun, no solar power).
Land Requirement: Large-scale projects need a lot of space.
