What is the Solar System?

The Solar System is made up of the Sun and all the objects that orbit it. This includes eight planets, their moons, asteroids, comets, and other space objects. Everything in the solar system is held together by the Sun's powerful gravity.

The Sun is a star, and it's at the center of our solar system. It provides the heat and light that are essential for life on Earth.
